Leadership
Serial entrepreneur Martin Woodall has spent more than 40 years building companies at the leading edge of technology. You might know him as one of the co-founders of MicroSolutions and Broadcast.com with Mark Cuban. Additionally, the founder of MLW Air, DroneData and AstroRobotics, and his management of American Airlines Center and tenant the Dallas Mavericks. Educated in Computer Science, he began his career as a software engineer at Texas Instruments where he developed digital weapon targeting systems. Now he brings his sporting arena, professional sports and robotics expertise together at Robot Sports World.
Following his venture into the providing wide-body all first-class flight to the Dallas Mavericks and establishing MLWAir, Woodall was board member at American Airlines Center as its technology member, a seat he held for over 20 years. He later founded DroneData to provide GPU-accelerated servers for AI and drone analytics, and was the founding investor in Ghost Robotics, the Philadelphia-based manufacturer of quadruped robots that AstroRobotics now puts to work in inspection and surveillance.
With Robot Sports World, Woodall is combining his experience in arena operations, professional sports, humanoids, and artificial intelligence. His goal is to build the leagues, teams, venues and audiences for organized humanoid competition and bring them into arenas on and off the field.
